Threads - (Marimba Duet)

Program Notes:

There are many moments in which we catch glimpses of Heaven here on earth. These threads connecting the two are what this work is about. It was originally inspired when I was on a plane flight at night and was looking out the window. Looking up, I saw countless stars and looking down I could those stars reflected in the city lights. The profound beauty struck me, and very tangibly reflected the heavens in the earth. I seek to capture some of that beauty in this piece.
